  • 1 and 1/2 cups raspberry preserves
  • 1 package full-fat cream cheese
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup light brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Layer half of the bread cubes in the dish, dollop half of the raspberry preserves, and dot with half of the cream cheese. Repeat layering with remaining ingredients.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together milk, heavy cream, eggs, vanilla extract, and half of the brown sugar until well combined. Pour over layered bread.
  4. Cover tightly and refrigerate overnight (at least 8 hours).
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Allow casserole to sit at room temperature for 15-30 minutes before baking.
  6. Bake covered for 30 minutes; then uncover and bake for another 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
