  • 8 slices white sandwich bread
  • Softened cream cheese (or Nutella)
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 heaping teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Butter (for greasing)

Instructions

  1. Cut the crusts off the bread slices and flatten each slice with a rolling pin.
  2. Place 1-2 teaspoons of your chosen filling near one end of each slice and roll tightly.
  3. Whisk eggs and milk together in a shallow bowl.
  4. Mix sugar and cinnamon in another shallow bowl.
  5. Heat butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Dip each roll in the egg mixture, then place seam-side down in the skillet. Cook until golden brown on all sides.
  6. Transfer cooked rolls into the cinnamon sugar mixture, rolling to coat.
