  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce (for sauce)
  • 1 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce (for sauce)
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon chili garlic sauce
  • 2 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. Marinate the beef: In a bowl, combine ribeye pieces with soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sweet soy sauce, black pepper, cornstarch, and baking soda. Mix well and set aside.
  2. Prepare the sauce: Whisk together hoisin sauce, soy sauce, honey, chili garlic sauce, and water in a small bowl.
  3. Cook the steak: Heat oil in a wok or skillet over high heat. Add marinated beef in a single layer and sear for about one minute before tossing. Cook for an additional two minutes until slightly charred.
  4. Add the sauce: Pour the prepared sauce over the cooked steak bites, stirring well for one more minute before removing from heat.
